Illustration Friday - Muddy

We've been getting a lot of rain, mud, and wind here lately. This is an actual scene from my garden this morning.

(Note: If you ever want to forget about the troubles of the world, make a picture of a ladybug. Something about the polka dots and the childhood memories make the world seem right again.)

  1. Very cute and colorful, read about how you make these on your site and found it a very unique (and cool!) way to approach illustration =)

I may have to test out your ladybug theory someday.

  6. Such wisdom in your words! Yes, I have to agree. Something about the polka dots. Although the bright colors and happy smile and mushroom house don't hurt, either. Adorable!

  7. I love the pattern of spots on the mushroom, ladybug, and umbrella! Great take on the theme, and I love the bright colors. You don't usually think of bright colors with muddy.
